Student Ministries
We believe God’s Church includes people of all ages; our 1st graders believing in Jesus are not just the church of tomorrow, they are part of the Church today. High School students following Jesus as they sort through the challenges of life are not just the leaders of tomorrow, they lead in the Church today. We endeavor to provide an encouraging environment where people of all ages can grow and thrive in their relationships with each other and God.
We have two rules in all our ministry:
- Everyone is treated with love and respect
- No Exclusion (and that includes no self-exclusion)
These two rules help us shape our environment where everyone is welcome and feels safe and cared for, no matter what you believe, what church you worship with or what age you are. A friend who hangs out with us at Youth Group recently said, “I’m not sure what I believe about Jesus, I just like being here. Is that OK?” Yeah, that’s OK, everyone is welcome.
We all love hanging out with our friends and getting to know new friends too, so we have student ministry to encourage students to have fun with their peers and interact with God together. We break out our student ministry according to the same grades of Central DeWitt Community Schools to allow everyone to be with the same people they see in the halls at school.
Kids Club (KC)
Kids Club is for children 4 years old through 3rd grade. We meet most Wednesday’s from 5:00-6:15pm including early-out days following the Central DeWitt School Calendar. We have a ton of fun singing songs, playing games, doing crafts, connecting with Jesus and each other. It is so much fun watching and hearing everyone learning Bible verses with sign language.

Day Camp
Every Summer over 100 kids between 4 years old and 6th grade come together for a fun-filled, high energy, 4 day spiritual journey. They learn about Jesus, sing songs, play games and memorize Bible verses in English and American Sign Language. And they build lasting relationships with Jesus, their counselors and new friends. It’s non-stop fun every year that kids don’t want to miss.
Four and five year-olds are with us from 9:00am – 11:30am. Snacks are provided.
First – sixth graders are here from 9am – 3pm. Snacks and Lunch are provided.
And, there is NO CHARGE for your kids to come and join the fun.

FOUR:56
Four:56 is an energetic open group of students in the Intermediate School grades 4-6. We get together almost every week during the school year on Wednesdays from 5-6:15p. We sing fun songs of praise, study God’s word in the Bible in a way that encourages participation and growth in a Christ-centered faith, and play games together.

High School Youth Group
Our High School Youth Group is a place for students in grades 9–12 to grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and follow Jesus together.
We meet every Wednesday from 6:30–8:30 PM throughout the year (with a few breaks and special outings along the way). The night starts with dinner from 6:30–7:00 PM, followed by worship (often student-led), a biblical teaching, games, and a snack from 7:00–8:30 PM.
Our heart is to dig deep into Scripture and help students develop a personal, lasting relationship with Christ—one that carries beyond high school into every part of life.
We welcome students from all backgrounds—whether you’ve grown up in church or are just beginning to explore faith. This is a place to ask questions, grow, and belong.
To help create a focused and meaningful environment, we ask students to put their phones away during youth group so they can be fully present with God and one another.
Our 2 Rules:
- Treat everyone with love and respect
- No exclusion (including self-exclusion)
These shape a space where every student feels known, valued, and cared for.
Throughout the year, we also participate in special events and trips, including Elevate Youth Convention (even-numbered years), along with other outings and experiences designed to build community and deepen faith.
